The ceramics area of study at Sacramento State offers a foundation in historical forms and techniques while providing the opportunity for individual artistic growth within an art department orientated toward creativity, imagination, and critical thinking.

    The Ceramics Guild sponsors an active visiting artist and workshop schedule each semester. In the past few years, visiting artists have included John Balistreri, Sunshine Cobb, Forrest Lesch-Middleton, Adam Field, Joe Pintz, H.P. Bloomer, Shasta Kruegger, and Mitch Iburg.
