Laurel Seban’s MA thesis was on “Incorporating Native with America: The 1931 Exposition of Indian Tribal Arts, Inc.” She teaches the two Native American art courses at Sacramento State State, and also has taught courses in Asian art, Ancient art, Renaissance art, Modern art, and the art of Meso- and South America. She has been a lecturer at both the Crocker Art Museum and the Haggin Museum (Stockton, CA) and was the co-curator of a student-run exhibition, Tradition in Native American Art, in the R. W. Witt Gallery at Sacramento State (2005). Seban has taught at Sacramento State since 2004.
