Faculty in Family and Consumer Sciences come from diverse educational backgrounds and have a wide range of expertise. Several faculty have had international experiences which enhance the global approach to the study of families and consumers. Faculty represent all areas of study, thereby helping students to integrate the study of Family and Consumer Sciences as they prepare for professional careers or graduate study.

	Bruce Bayley, Assistant Professor, Emeritus Advisor:  Family Studies Concentration B.S., University of Utah M.A., University of Utah Ph.D., Utah State University Areas of research: The bidirectional relationships between crime/delinquency and the family, public safety and adolescent interactions, adolescent perception development, family policy, the implementation of GIS (geographic information systems) and GPS (global positioning systems) technologies in social research.
